Dr. Thomas Seyfried says all cancers are fermentation in the mitochondria of cells. (Video below)
He says cancer is not a genetic disease.
Why?
…because some genetic defects aren't cancerous and some cancers aren't genetic defects.
Then, he insults anyone who believes cancer is genetic and says these people only want one theory to exist.
This is Logical fallacy projection.
Science never said genetic defects always lead to cancer or that all cancer is always genetic. Science acknowledges specific cancers are triggered by viruses like EBV, smoking, and environmental toxins.
Science says genetic defects lead to *increased susceptibility* to cancer. You are only as strong as your weakest link. Some are weaker than others, and some eat more processed foods, bad fats, sugar, and carbs.
At 35 min, he accuses science of only wanting to hold one belief, and yet he wants it to be all about fermentation. He doesn't want to be open to both fermentation and genetics playing a part.
He has mastered the art of projection.
He words it brilliantly, walks you through his spiel …and his beliefs are spot on. They just don’t factor in that genetic defects can be involved in some cancers.
My husband's mom carries the lynch syndrome defect that increases risk of cancer. So did her sisters. My husband watched cousins die of it young. His own brothers and sisters are battling it. Only the ones who carry the lynch syndrome defect have cancer and it is every single one of them so far. They all have been through chemo multiple times and they are all younger than him. He is the oldest of 8 brothers and sisters. They got the cancers specifically implicated in their genetic defect. Other lynch defects are more likely to get other cancers.
A group of pregnant mothers exposed to a toxic chemical spilled in Texas all developed a genetic mutation on chromosome 12p13, which led to the children developing leukemia early in life.
Children who had CRISPR gene editing, later developed leukemia.
People who got the Pfizer vaccine are at increased risk of developing genetic mutations (the most common one) that may lead to cancer. Do we deny vaccines cause this? Is the proof all fake? They list the risk of getting cancer if this gene becomes mutated and it isn't 100%. They acknowledge it is much lower but it is still a risk you don't have if you don't get a jab.
My husband's sister's daughter has a genetic defect that causes moles all over her body which turn cancerous at a young age in most all of the children who have the defect.
Are all of these genetic defects and more fake?
Downs Syndrome is a genetic defect that leads to early onset alzheimers. Is that fake?
Some children are born with metabolic genetic defects. They can not metabolize a specific nutrient and must go on a special diet, or they become mentally disabled and many times die.
Genetic defects are real, and some do not express immediately.
His views are incredible, though. His beliefs are legit.
He just closes the door on the genetic aspect, which may factor in for some people and his “me-against-them” attitude isn't helping his cause. It's doing the very thing he accuses others of doing.
I have a friend with glioblastoma who followed Dr S. (working with his organization directly). She did his diet, avoided all radio/chemo and did a myriad of "alternative treatments". The cancer returned after the original surgery. She had a second surgery, decided to do radio/chemo and is working with a nutritionist to rebuild after muscle wasting with high protein. Her latest scan shows complete remission, but glioblastoma is tricky...My point is that pretty much all these YouTube pundits need to taken with a grain of salt.
WOW! Cancer is Never just one thing. Nailed it Heidi. Why is it that scientists who develop a good theory become so attached to the idea that their discovery is the ONLY FACTOR. It's crazy. You have done a fantastic job of throwing a bunch of case study reality extinguisher all over his flame. Without trying to put out the flame. Brilliant. Living things are so complex. There is never just one factor.
